All of the splits and wobbles in this image are a result of the softened film emulsion stretching and bunching during the hand-pulled transfer process. The "whites" in this piece are actually aluminum (silver) coloured from the aluminum paint I prepared the wood panel with ahead of time. This paint uses actual aluminum particles as the pigment and gives the whites a softly reflective metallic sheen
