[Not] Tattooed Heart

This piece combines a couple of other longtime preoccupations of mine: barriers, as represented by chainlink fence, and skin – like a fence it is both a barrier and a protective membrane, but also so much more. The vulnerability of it is very important to me, amplified by the heart that is far too big to be carried on a sleeve, and is also tattooed right into the skin.

The digital "KHO" watermark will not appear on purchased prints. They will be numbered and signed.

​Letter-sized prints (11" x 8.5", image somewhat smaller), using professional pigment-based inks on acid-free digital hot press paper. Edition of 15. $30 each, plus postage.
