Hea[r]t Pack

A photo-digital mixed media image covered in a dense network of blood vessels, derived from antique anatomical art (one of my favourite resources) and an odd sculptural textile object that struck me by its resemblance to the human heart. 

The fabric is an old flannelette, its tactile properties and connotations struck me as an interesting and evocative way to depict a heart.

In talking with people at exhibitions about it, the range of interpretations and experiences has been startlingly wide, which I love. What you see in it is bound to be personal.

​The digital "KHO" watermark will not appear on purchased prints. They will be numbered and signed.

​Letter-sized prints (11" x 8.5", image somewhat smaller), using professional pigment-based inks on acid-free digital hot press paper. Edition of 15 (some prints are already sold). 

$30 each, plus postage.
