Last Friday I was a guest on Michael Charbon's talk show Night Time, showing and talking about my art and, strangely enough, defining the word 'diaphanous'. It was very exciting and a little nerve-wracking, but I knew I hadn't done too badly when he invited me to stay on until the end of the show instead of leaving after my segment as is usual. If you subscribe to Rogers Cable TV, the program runs tonight (and will repeat a few times) at 10pm, on the Mississauga version of Rogers Community Television. I'll be watching it tonight and hope I won't be mortified by how I come across. If I'm wearing a bag on my head the next time you see me, you'll know it didn't go well! | I will post an update here with some photos of the experience when I get them from the photographer. Very soon I hope! In the meantime, here's a selfie I shot on my return home, to show the professional hair and makeup (thanks to my multi-talented niece-in-law Bailey Evering!). |
