Day one of installing my 'Chains Unlinked' exhibition at the Art Gallery of Mississauga was made up of: gathering materials, tools and equipment, a little shopping and finally arriving at the gallery to get the grid drawn (helped by the amiable Brian) and get poly tarp taped to the walls and floor.
I ended the day by sketching in the figure which I haven't shown here but hope to put together a little video of that plus today's work in the next day or two.
Onward! By the way, any and all words of encouragement are very welcome!
As a visual artist I like nothing more than getting up to my elbows in paint or little plastic toys, or wading in at the deep end in pursuit of an idea. When I am not teaching others in a similar vein, you can find me researching, writing and noodling around in my studio, seeing where my latest lines of inquiry lead me.
